Visitdays helps K–12 districts and higher ed institutions manage virtual and in-person events for prospective students — connecting high schools and colleges at exactly the right moment in a student's decision journey.
I was the sole product designer across two products simultaneously: a new multi-tenant platform launched from scratch in 2020, and a legacy SaaS application serving 100+ enterprise university accounts. Both, at the same time, with real users depending on both.
What I focused on:
The new platform needed to work for three very different users — event organizers, university admins, and students & parents — on desktop and mobile, under a hard launch deadline. It reached 500K+ students and parents in its first year.
On the legacy side, I owned the design system end-to-end: built for WCAG 2.0 AA compliance, keeping accessibility and consistency intact across a product with years of accumulated complexity.
The through-line across both: close collaboration with engineers, PMs, and customers — designing at multiple fidelities and staying in the room from first sketch to shipped feature.
